I'm not sure what happened this year but winter has taken a vacation! I know many people are pretty happy about this but I for one enjoy the beauty of the seasons. I missed the snow and the cold. It makes me appreciate spring more when the flowers come up and the birds return with their songs. I enjoy the quiet of a snowfall when there is no sound but the wind blowing through the trees. Winter gives me the opportunity to develop new crafts and skills. Well, winter is offically over next week. We're into the 70's today...wonder if spring will bring us the snow we missed in Janurary.
